The Role
This Assistant Accountant will support the Finance Team’s Management Accountant at our Head Office site at Berkeley Vale on the Central Coast to carry out a range of accounting duties across the Australian and international businesses including:
- Month End processes including posting GL Journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reporting, forecasting and analysis.
- Budget preparation and consolidation.
- Capital expenditure administration and reporting.
- Software-as-a-Service projects budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
- Insurance claims and renewals.
- Ad-hoc Projects.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce with a major in Accounting.
- Completing or desire to complete CPA, CA or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong customer focus and team orientation.
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
- The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Good attention to detail.
