About The Role:
We are now seeking an experienced, motivated Project Manager to join our highly regarded and progressive Rail Signalling team. The position will be based at our Perth office. You will manage the contractual and on-site direction of the team to perform maintenance projects and operations in accordance with contractual requirements.
Role requirements:
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders including clients, contractors and suppliers.
- Meet contractual KPI’s and targets.
- Manage program, cost forecasting and performance.
- Compile and report against measurements illustrating performance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes to reduce the total cost of operation while not compromising the safety or reliability.
- Interface and ensure delivery from other departments to maintain cost, program and contractual obligations.
- Must be able to competently understand facility schematics and drawings.
- Ensure maintenance workforce compliance with OH&S policies and ensure accident reporting is done promptly and completely.
About You:
- Experience in project or infrastructure management role
- Experience in contract management, finance management and forecasting
- Experience in program development and reporting
- Have a degree, Trade/Diploma in engineering, management, or an extensive related background.
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving.
- Able to manage and support a rotating/on call roster including weekends.
- Previous experience in electrical / electronic systems
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Able to manage and co-ordinate maintenance staff and subcontractors.
- Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e.. excel
- A strong commitment to a Safety focused environment for all our employees and visitors.
- Current Australian Driver’s license
- Ideally have Track Safety Awareness.
