A bit about your role
The nbn Regulatory team’s overall objective is to shape nbn’s regulatory environment to help the company deliver on its objectives. In support of achieving this objective, we pursue regulatory outcomes that enable nbn to fulfil its mandate as a GBE, including by pursuing regulatory certainty while also preserving appropriate commercial and operational flexibly for the company.
Reporting to the General Manager Regulatory Economics, the role of Project Manager Regulatory is to lead the co-ordination activity across a variety of Regulatory projects across nbn alongside driving the change needed to mature our business practices and meet our regulatory obligations to ensure nbn can deliver its purpose to lift the digital capability of Australia.
This role will require exceptional stakeholder management at all levels of nbn together with general business acumen to deliver the quality outcomes. The outcomes need to be achieved by collaborating with a cross-functional team and will require high levels of matrix management. The role will require an individual who is flexible and able to lead in challenging situations with agility.
A bit about you
If this sounds like the role for you then it is likely you will have proven expertise in project management leading complex cross functional projects. You’ll hold formal project management training experience with demonstrated capabilities in managing a variety of complex and strategically significant projects with multiple stakeholders.
With expert communication and influencing skills, you will be highly capable in partnering with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally and present to business audiences.
In addition, your ability to develop a workable understanding of the regulatory framework in commercial and operational settings and your aptitude to thrive in an atmosphere of change will see you succeed in this role.
