Project Manager - Remediation

Joining our clients operations based in Canberra, you will oversee the overall management of construction, refurbishment & remediation projects from initial setup through to completion.

THE ROLE

• Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
• Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
• MS Project and program drafting experience
• Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
• Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
• Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
• Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to programme
• Involvement with tendering/estimation
• Raise RFI’s and track responses

ABOUT YOU

• Prior experience leading & completing multiple construction, refurbishment and remediation projects
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering or a similar discipline / experience
• Proven ability to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Ability to self-manage own workload whilst ensuring a project efficiency and a positive team environment
• Proven problem-solving capability with an approachable leadership style
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
• A natural leader who is willing to develop people and achieve delivery targets
• Experience in Blast and Paint and Concrete Remedial Works would be favoured
