A highly motivated and experienced Project Manager has full end to end accountability and control of the project(s), provides scope, clarity, and deliver all facets of the work to meet our business needs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the project on time, on budget, at the highest quality, and implement lessons learned. 
  • Maintain a strategic focus and maximise returns for MBH and its shareholders in the short and long term. 
  • Apply industry best practises, develop board justification, budgets, and obtain approvals, control, monitoring and drive delivery of key project outcomes. 
  • The implementation and nomination of specific tasks to minimise business risk for MBH. 
  • Manage and administer Contracts and Consultants. 
  • Resource planning and management. 
  • Liaise with Governments, regulatory bodies, consultants, corporations, and companies in relation to key project deliverables. 
  • Deliver the Project to PMBOK principles and project management best practice. 
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of MBH systems and processes. 
  • Schedule and manage project meetings to address project status, contractual matters, programming, project co-ordination, quality, and occupational health and safety. 
  • Oversee the application of MBH policies and procedures in relation to project activities. 
  • To identify the training needs of all personnel under their control, and ensure personnel are trained with regard to MBH systems, quality, and the business needs. 
  • Providing an atmosphere conducive to a productive and safe working environment and seamless delivery of project objectives. 
  • Provide timely reporting to senior management with a high level of accuracy. 
  • Represent MBH in a professional manner at all times. 
     

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management and engineering is desirable. 
  • Experience in Renewable Energy generation and/or transmission and network fields OR 
  • Experience in the development approval process (Qld or SA) with a focus on Renewable Energy facilities 
  • Proven extensive experience in project management in Renewable Energy generation and/or experience in transmission and network fields. 
  • Accreditation with the Australian Institute of Project Management as a Certified Project Manager is highly desirable. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools and software, such as: Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel. 
  • Familiarity with tools like PSCAD, PSS/E and DSA Power Tools.
  • Experience with PDS Australia is desirable.
