Situated in spacious premises in Dandenong South, 3fr has established a very strong reputation in the industry for delivering outstanding results in the areas of design, manufacture and installation of Shop Fitting and Commercial joinery installations from a strong cultured "work from office" environment. The company has grown steadily for more than 20 years and today is shopfitter of choice for several major leading retail chains. Projects are based in Melbourne and across the country.
ABOUT THE ROLE
With several large long-standing National retail clients providing us regular ongoing projects, there now is an opportunity to develop another Project Manager position within the team. This is an important role requiring a range of skills including practical, technical, people management as well as customer service and sales focused skills. Projects are complex involving many competing priorities and maintaining a wide range of critical stakeholder needs.
We are looking for an up and coming self motivated career individual with a background in fast paced, flexible, retail or construction sectors with strong customer service experience. You will need to have proven people management and customer relationship skills.
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be career minded and hands on willingness to engage in flexible working hours
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate must have
- Project Management experience in a similar trade/shopfitting industry or experience with maintenance preferred
- Retail and Client management experience preferred
- Exceptional and demonstrable communication and problem-solving skills.
- History of successful positive relationship management with various stakeholders
- High level of computer literacy
- An ability to engage and build client trust with a view to winning further work
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Willingness and flexibility for occasional night onsite work and regularly be available for nightly phone calls to support Retail environments. As well as occasional interstate travel, if required
- Manage projects end to end on behalf of the company utilising the team
- Develop and build client trust and confidence through excellent project delivery in order to grow and expand the business
- Flexible working hours to support our retail clientele
- Take responsibility for cost control on projects
- Ensure all compliance and contractual obligations are met
