There are several initiatives underway across the University that will impact our employees in a variety of ways across 2024 and 2025. These include further increasing our focus on compliance work, the delivery of our ERP Program, the implementation of a new Research Management System (RMS) and the implementation of the current Enterprise Agreement.Given the scope of these changes they will have broad impacts on individual employees as well as the role of our leaders.About the RoleThe Project Manager - Organisational Readiness plays a pivotal role in leading, planning, and executing projects while adhering to timelines and budget constraints. Collaborating closely with teams, stakeholders, and resources, they ensure project outcomes through effective utilization of project management methods and tools. Responsible for overseeing project scope, schedule adherence, and resource allocation, they prioritise high-quality results while fostering teamwork, resolving conflicts, and motivating team members. Their adaptability and efficient problem-solving skills throughout the project lifecycle distinguish them in their role, ensuring successful project delivery.Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead initiation, planning, implementation, and closure activities for strategic projects and initiatives, including defining scope, approach, and success criteria, managing projects within time and budget, and delivering quality outcomes in aligned with the University's needs.
- Coordinate and communicate project objectives, progress and milestones to stakeholders and team members.
- Maintain oversight of project activities, deliverables and risks at all times, including managing and evaluating project progress, performance, scope and change control.
- Provide expertise and support as required to ensure the change emanating from key projects across the University to enable a seamless experience for our people.
You will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, managing multiple projects and deadlines meticulously. Additionally, possessing strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset will be essential for effective decision-making.You will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications and or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.
- Able to work in a complex environment at an enterprise level, engage and navigate key stakeholders appropriately.
- Ability to gather and critically evaluate information from multiple sources, synthesise data and analyse at a detailed level.
- Demonstrated high-level writing skills, showing flexibility across a range of purposes, audiences, and styles.
