We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join client's team in Roma, QLD for a Government opportunity.
We are seeking for Project Manager role to contribute to the project management and delivery of projects including planning, design, effectively communicating with stakeholders, monitoring budgets and policies/procedures requirements.- Roads and Drainage
- Parks, Gardens and Reserves
- Waste, and
- Flood Mitigation
Contract Details
- Contract Ending: 12 months + (possible extension) 2x12 months.
- Project planning – design, preparing estimates, project plans, budgeting and scheduling.
- Supervision of the construction process for both internally delivered and outsourced components.
- Contract management – undertake the role of administrator including preparing progress payments, preparing contract reports, attending site meetings, and assessing contractor performance.
- Monitor assigned works to ensure compliance with specifications, service delivery standards and engineering practices and protocols.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to specifications set out in contracts.
- Experience in project management within a similar industry, on large scale, complex, high risk, varying and/or multiple projects.
- Degree qualifications in Engineering
- Demonstrated Project/project management skills with the ability to execute tasks from inception to completion.
- Ability to negotiate with, manage and supervise external contractors and consultants.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with high level of interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, both at site and remotely from site.
