The role
As the Project Manager WA-MT, you will form part of a dynamic team responsible for the running of the WA-MT project, processing and integrating magnetotelluric data from across the state, leading the project ensuring task milestones are met on budget and on schedule and publishing results.
This position plans, coordinates, supervises, undertakes geoscience studies which includes the analysis of geophysical data, in particular magnetotelluric data, leads, and manages project-based geophysical studies to ensure projects or task milestones are met on budget, compiles, integrates and synthesises geophysical and geoscience data to high-level knowledge products such as maps, 3D models, reports, which supports resources exploration and enable evidence-based decisions on land use and resource production. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing budget estimates, controlling expenditure, managing contracts within area of responsibility, preparing reports, communicating geoscientific results and participating in peer reviews of GSRSD products.
Your skills and experience in providing high level advice to the executive team, the department, government and providing training and development to staff as required will be key to your success in this role.
