Our Supply & Install team provides our valued Builders & Developers professional supply and install solutions. We do this by providing trade qualified installers, with dedicated on-site project management along with developing project specific solutions for Joinery, flooring, plasterboard and many other categories. We intend to be able to grow our sales across the wider range within our Commercial Builders, Organisations and trades segments in the future. We are now seeking a professional Supply & Install Project Manager to join our dedicated team in QLD.
What you can expect to do
- On site check measuring of all joinery and any other S&I offer
- Understand the implications of site logistics, access, lift access, while managing customer expectations within the limitation of the business's capabilities.
- Managing on site induction with subcontractors
- Manage all onsite works to be completed by subcontractors
- Manage and conduct on site check list
- Facilitate mutually beneficial outcomes when project schedules or variations are impacted
- Ensure our subcontractors are adhering to safe workplace practice
- Attend any meeting required by customer on site including toolbox talks, walk throughs, safety presentations
- Working with the Commercial Account Managers (in conjunction with the Area Sales Managers) ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded and deliver the project to result in Best Experience
- Utilising technology and associated Product Packages final work output inclusive of sign off documentation.
- Utilising ServiceM8 site management system for all projects
- Provide on the spot recovery and solutions to issues in the moment
- Work closely with State Team leader, Project Coordination Team, Solution Specialists, Builders Nominee & Compliance manager to ensure all information provided relating to on site updates, issues or concerns and ensuring DIFOT.
- Achieving delivered in full on time on budget for each project
- Execute practical and final completion sign off.
- Build internal relationship with key stakeholders including but not limited to commercial account managers, area managers, State sales managers & BDM's.
- Drive additional sales revenue onsite via add on sales, remedials or additional work request
What we need from you:
- Hands on experience within the Commercial construction industry and extensive knowledge of the whole of build process
- Strong Joinery/Carpentry and associated product knowledge
- Ability to respond quickly and problem solve effectively
- Attention to detail and regard for maintaining standards and delivering results
- Ability to read, interpret and troubleshoot architectural plans and CAD software plans or equivalent
- Requirement to learn all S&I Offers
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent customer focus and ability to build rapport
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Tenacious, positive attitude and results driven
- Demonstrate integrity, respect, and teamwork in everything you do
- Solid computer competency proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
