The Gig

With multiple projects currently in flight, a role has become available for a results driven Project Manager with a proven track record in Infrastructure projects to oversee the strategic planning, budget management, risk mitigation, and project execution, to support deliver a deck of civil projects, including a high profile $20 million subdivision north of the Gold Coast.

Reporting the Construction Manager, you will ply your trade to drive project success through planning, budget management, work coordination, cost control, risk mitigation, stakeholder and subcontractor management, project documentation, securing approvals, and supporting team performance.

You are a progressive thinker, with demonstrated commercial success! You will be working alongside a strong and passionate team delivering exceptional and innovative solutions!

You will be trusted with:

• Managing detailed plans for civil projects totalling $20 million, including a Coomera, QLD subdivision.
• Monitor project budgets, ensuring adherence to the $20 million allocation, and finding cost-saving opportunities.
• Identify and manage project risks, adjusting plans for successful delivery.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead and support project teams for successful outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for civil projects.
• Oversee procurement processes and manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Monitor project schedules and address potential delays for on-time delivery.
• Conduct post-project reviews and implement improvements for enhanced project management processes.

What’s In Your Toolbox?You are an exceptional communicator, have a strong commercial acumen, and are as efficient as they come. You have an exceptional ability to interpret complex data into communicable, logical information that is readily accessible to both internal and external stakeholders.

You are confident with influencing and negotiating ensuring key outcomes are delivered, and your accountability to detail will see you as a strong, well engaged leader as you drive quality work packages to completion.

You will have at least 5 years post graduate experience as an engineer in major civil/infrastructure project delivery. You will also have Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or Project Management; Proficient in project management suite of software (eg Microsoft professional suite/Primavera/etc) and have experience with earthmoving/sub-division projects.
