Project Manager to join the Telecommunication Wireless Build team, based in Melbourne. The Project Manager is responsible for the project management, delivery of customer services, and deployment of wireless works for our clients. They will manage the delivery and deployment of assigned projects to specified timeframes within budget and in accordance with agreed quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibit a proactive and responsive customer service approach and form positive relationships with clients.
- Liaise and coordinate with team members their responsibilities based on their skills and capabilities ensuring quality and efficiency of project works is maintained.
- Monitor and deliver projects in line with scope, quality, and safety requirements.
- Establish and maintain short/long-range schedules and forecasts including all resources, material, and personnel
- Collaborate and communicate with key sub-contracting partners and team members to improve delivery and enable them to carry out their duties effectively.
- Direct daily activities and training of team members
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships for project and long-term opportunities
- Responsible for project quotes, quality, safety, and financials.
- Oversee and manage Greenfield and upgrade sites
- Effectively guide teams to foster teamwork and unity, providing a supportive and productive workplace
- Provide operational leadership to all staff including rigging and technical resources
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, leading a team, managing budgets, costs, consultants, and clients
- Outstanding planning and project management skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate across a broad range of stakeholders
- High-level numerical analysis skills and the ability to provide clear conclusions and recommendations on complex deployment, management or contractual issues
- Demonstrated working knowledge of legislative requirements
- Demonstrated working knowledge of industry and competition
- Working knowledge on 3G, 4G, 5G wireless Technologies for Optus/Telstra/NBN/TPG.
- Commercial and financial acumen
- Demonstrable track record of leading the required functions and achieving results.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Degree qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or similar.
