The Opportunity
As a Project Officer, you will play an integral part in a range of activities and strategies designed to support improved outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities. This will include undertaking research and analysis of information, administration and project management, stakeholder engagement, facilitation of meetings, preparation of project documentation and collaborating with other relevant programs within the Department.
In this position, you will:
- Support the Aboriginal Regional Coordinator by identifying and contributing to processes and work improvements that lead to better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees and communities.
- Build strong relationships across Aboriginal communities and services; attending meetings with stakeholders, community, Aboriginal Elders and Respected Persons.
