Your new role
As Project Officer, you will have a strong focus on Interoperability and work within the Digital Solutions Division. Working on a 5-year strategic plan, the purpose of this position is to support vast Project Management activities to help coordinate delivery of actions and projects that will achieve the nation's healthcare priorities. Some responsibilities include:
- Support the coordination of actions and projects outlined in the Interoperability Plan's priority areas and other digital health-related initiatives.
- Collaborate and engage with stakeholders at a high level, both internal and external to the Agency, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure the smooth delivery of project milestones.
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans, discussion papers and initiatives related to digital health and interoperability.
- Assist with preparation of progress reports and updates to the Director Interoperability, and other key stakeholders as required.
- Promote a collaborative and positive working environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and knowledge sharing.
- Assist with the management of agency procurement, contracts, and finance requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for someone with a great understanding of Digital Transformation generally. Any experience or natural interest in Digital Health would be advantageous as well. Some other traits of the desirable applicant include the ability to be agile/flexible, not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get to work, the ability to be engaging and manage diverse stakeholder groups as well as have excellent written and oral communication skills.
For the purposes of this submission, we can only accept applicants who have a current AGSVA Baseline Clearance at minimum.
