The Building Infrastructure team is responsible for all of Kingston's building and facility renewal works.
The role
We are seeking a Project Officer to join the Building Infrastructure team. Reporting to the Team Leader Building Infrastructure, your role is to:
- Prepare project design briefs, tender documentation, and contracts.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with the contract and delivered within an allocated timeframe and budget.
- Provide support to stakeholders throughout a project’s life-cycle.
About you
We are looking for someone with:
- Knowledge and experience in the delivery of minor capital works and facilities maintenance
- Knowledge of relevant Standards, Codes of Practice, OHS, ESM, BCA regulations etc
- Tertiary qualification in an architectural design, building & construction, project management and/or substantial experience in a project management role within the public sector

The salary for this position starts at $93,076 (Band 6) per annum plus superannuation.
