SalaryWe are seeking applicants with the relevant knowledge and skills in document publishing to support the activities of the Curriculum into the Classroom and CTL Production team, Schools and Student Support, Department of Education.
These positions will support the design and publication of digital educational resource materials across multiple websites and platforms for use in Queensland state schools.
These are temporary, full-time positions commencing asap through to Friday, 28 June, 2024, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role
The role of the AO4 Project Officer is to:
- Design and create high-quality educational materials to support teachers and students.
- Desktop publish documents adhering to the Department's style and visual brand guidelines.
- Design templates to improve the layout and readability of digital and print documents.
- Edit, update and upload content to online platforms.
- Contribute to the development of quality assurance and publishing procedures.
- Undertake operational tasks that support the delivery of departmental initiatives.
- Use effective time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks, liaise with stakeholders and meet deadlines while maintaining a high quality.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent knowledge of design and layout.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A good understanding of online publishing processes.
- The ability to manage time and multi-task to meet strict deadlines.
- The ability to contribute ideas and work effectively in a team.
- Enthusiasm and drive to produce quality work.
