Job description

Company Overview: Eagle Rock Construction is a reputable construction company specialising in temporary public protection structures and defits. With a commitment to excellence and a track record of delivering high-quality results, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join our team.

Position Overview: As a Construction Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with regulations, facilitating communication between project stakeholders, and overseeing all project documentation management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including job paperwork, contracts, permits, drawings, and specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and execution of estimations 
  • Monitor project expenses, invoices, and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, environmental requirements, and other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for project stakeholders, facilitating communication and resolving conflicts or issues as they arise.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, site visits, and inspections with project team members, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Implement quality assurance/quality control procedures to ensure that construction activities meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Support project managers and superintendents with administrative tasks and project-related activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction administration or project coordination, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
