Assist in organizing and delivering the Creating Canopies 2 Project requirements on time and on budget by managing resources with a focus on recording, reporting, and monitoring of planting.
Core objectives include:
- Assist in meeting project objectives: Planting 200,000 trees by 31 Dec 2025 by scheduling activities and ordering all resources to meet the planting schedule.
- Assist in organizing and supervising contractors and volunteers at community planting events.
- Assist in the arrangement of contracts and agreements with contractors and landholders and enter all partnerships and stakeholder details into Salesforce.
- Monitor contractors to ensure standards are maintained.
- Advise on the management of the project.
- Use appropriate systems to track activities and progress to ensure the site plans and budget are met.
- Adhere to the accounting, costing, and billing requirements.
- Provide the following financial services: entering bills and receipts into QuickBooks; create invoices in QuickBooks.
- Enter data and run reports in Salesforce.
- Compile information to the Project Manager for reports.
- Smartsheet and folder management.
- Occasionally assisting in on-ground works such as site preparation/tree maintenance and monitoring.
- Record weekly team meeting minutes.
- Work with project staff in a collaborative way to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage the Castle Hill office and warehouse.
- Receive goods into stock.
- Ensure that WHS procedures are in place, staff are trained in them and that they are applied accurately for contractors and volunteers.
- Set and maintain good relationships with landholders, suppliers, contractors, and volunteers.
- Represent GSL interests.
- Actively look for opportunities for engagement and collaboration with other GSL and Landcare activities.

Qualifications
Appropriate degree or Cert 3 in Conservation Land Management.
Experience:
- Designing, managing, and delivering on ground projects, engagement, communications, and reporting.
- Working with councils, other organizations, and individual landholders across Sydney.
- Revegetation programs.
- Financial, communication, website, and social media.
- Microsoft suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Office and warehouse administration.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the partnerships, key stakeholders and on ground network.
- Knowledge of administration processes and systems.
Other:
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Drive and QuickBooks.
- Class C driving license and vehicle access.
