About the Role:
The Project Officer will establish a Project Plan for Optima rostering system implementation and be responsible for the delivery of the Project Plan to a high quality. The Project Officer will coordinate a highly effective and efficient project to deliver a clear implementation plan and roadmap that is delivered on time and within budget. Develop project documentation relevant to project complexity and risk management and coordination of project vendors in delivering agreed services as per contractual obligations.
The role will collaborate with internal staff and work closely and collaboratively with the vendor RL Datix to ensure the objectives and benefits of the project are delivered. Coordinate training sessions for staff ensuring appropriate knowledge and understanding of the system.
You will bring:
- Experience as a Project Manager
- Demonstrated effectiveness in a role which interacts with all levels of stakeholders including CE's.
- Knowledge or experience in structured project management methodologies
- Project leadership and management experience, direct or indirect as well as single operator
- High-level of effective communication skills (oral presentation, written, information presentation) in order to engage with a wide variety of internal and external professionals at all organisational levels, and groups.
- Ability to understand health service operations, including funding policy, roles and strategic health planning.
- Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems proactively identifying improvement opportunities to add value to business operations.

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check.
