The RoleThe Project Officer Resource Recovery will be directly involved with Developing and delivering plans and programs that addresses key issues which include bulky waste, recycling contamination, residential waste infrastructure and community knowledge around waste and Recycling. You will play also provide specialist advice to council, state and local governments, industry and community on waste and Resource Recovery issues *This opportunity will be offered on a permanent full-time basis Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Develop, deliver, maintain and evaluate programs and Councils clean up website contract
- Research and implement solutions for complex and priority waste and Resource Recovery issues, including solutions to complex waste infrastructure issues in apartment blocks
- Assist in the development, maintenance and evaluation of waste and Resource Recovery strategies, policies and contracts.
- Maintain, monitor and evaluate data, programs, initiatives and resources
- Manage grants and alternate funding sources, that align with the relevant strategies, policies and plans.
- Provide specialist advice to council, state and local governments, industry and community on waste and Resource Recovery issues.
