About the Yarra Ranges Integrated Services Team
The Yarra Ranges Integrated Services Team provides a range of services to the community, including Alcohol & Other Drug Counselling (Adult and Youth), Financial Counselling, Gambler’s Help therapeutic Counselling, Storm Recovery support, and NDIS Groups.
- Casual position - 1 day per week, Wednesdays 1pm-7pm

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Project Officer to join our Yarra Ranges Integrated Services Team to assist in the ongoing running of the Rural Rainbows Peer Group (and related Working Group), which started in October 2021.
EACH’s Rural Rainbows Peer Group aims to provide a safe, supportive, and vibrant space where LGBTQIA+ young people in the Yarra Ranges can come together to connect, learn, be heard and most of all have fun!
As Project Officer your tasks will include;
- Program planning (activities/events/calendars).
- Communication & liaison with participants, EACH employees and related organisations.
- Co-facilitation of fortnightly peer groups and related working groups.
- Collation of service data for reporting to EACH and funders.
- Investigating further potential grant opportunities to potentially expand services for LGBTQIA+ people in the Yarra Ranges.
- You may also be needed to support other programs across EACH as required.
Do you have experience in the planning and delivery of peer support groups for young people? Do you have a passion to lift up LGBTQIA+ young voices in the Yarra Ranges? Then you might be the person we’re looking for!
We are looking for someone with experience working with people who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community or are questioning and have knowledge of the issues which face them. Experience in general project support and administration is also sought.
Highly regarded Qualifications and/or Certifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Youth Work, Social Work, Mental Health, Counselling or equivalent.
