The Role

The Project Officer provides administrative, resource and project management support for the Youth Development team and any co-located agencies to run activities, events and projects/ programs. The role also contributes to the Youth Program delivery and facilitation and provides support to the Youth Development team in the implementation of processes and initiatives to strengthen young people access to social participation and inclusion.
About you
You are passionate about young people’s wellbeing and helping them to thrive.
You have knowledge of, and implement best practice frameworks and industry knowledge in the youth and human services sector and awareness of the role of local government in the youth sector.
You understand the principles of child safety and youth work ethical practice.
Have experience in stakeholder engagemement, program facilitation, evaluation and project management.
