Summary
As the Project Resource Specialist, you will be part of the Resource Management team in Project Delivery. You will be responsible for the development of key Project Delivery workforce planning and reporting artefact that are underpinned by analysis.

The Role
As the Project Resource Specialist, you will be part of the Resource Management team in Project Delivery. You will be responsible for the development of key Project Delivery workforce planning and reporting artefact that are underpinned by analysis.
You will work with various internal and external stakeholders, including project delivery workstreams, strategic planning, portfolio management, workforce planning, other Human Resource teams and recruitment agencies to achieve objectives.
This role requires experience in:
- Workforce planning and resource modelling,
- Visualisation software such as PowerBI,
- A high level understanding of project management
- Practical knowledge of working with industry frameworks in an organisational context.
Duties include but are not limited to
• Contribute and support the development and implementation of an end-to-end process for Project Delivery resource.
• Maintain the resource library to ensure the alignment with enterprise workforce strategy.
• Develop a range of dashboard and reports to inform resource demand, utilisation and supply.
• Develop and manage data modelling relating to workforce planning (SQL and Power BI tabular data), undertake detailed analysis to identify potential gaps and risks.
• Lead the development of the Project Delivery resourcing approach to ensure the right resources are engaged to deliver the Change Program.
• Improve data maturity to ensure our technical systems that support the function (e.g. Project Server).
• Work with other project delivery workstreams, Strategy and Planning, and portfolio management to ensure input and output requirements are met.

The Person
• Demonstrated experience in workforce planning and resource modelling in a complex corporate environment.
• Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of various resourcing strategies and industry standards.
• An understanding of human resource and recruitment practices, across both government and private industry
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Technical competencies in:
- Data visualisation software (advanced): Microsoft Power BI
- Data query language proficiency (intermediate – advanced): SQL and T-SQL
- Statistical analysis concepts: Bayesian Statistical Analysis
