Due to their recent restructure, they are looking for an experienced Project Planner/Scheduler to join their Front-End Engineering Team.You will report to the engineering superintendent and work with a team of professional engineers. This contract role will allow you to work from home with occasional travel to site.Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather project information and update schedules accordingly.
- Identify potential schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Monitor progress against the schedule and communicate any deviations or delays.
- Provide regular reports and analysis on project schedule performance.
- Previous experience as a Project Scheduler, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a large amount of information and provide accurate schedules for governing purposes.
