What you’ll love about the opportunity:
Reporting to the EGM Sales and Operations, your focus will be building and managing APG's Property and Asset program. The responsibilities for the role will include:
Strategic Planning and Asset Enhancement:
- Contribute to the development and execution of a property/asset strategy aligned with APG initiatives and growth objectives.
- Analyze and identify our Property and Asset requirements' requirements, risks, and opportunities.
- Developing capex budget submissions and implementing a rollout plan to deliver optimisation of the Property and Asset program initiatives for the business.
- Support the delivery of APG Property refresh and Asset initiatives and/or projects.
- Coordinate with the National Operations Manager and State Operations Managers to ensure efficient Property and Asset planning and maintenance.
- Implement and monitor Property and Asset (ie Forklift/Vehicle) improvement projects, renovations, and capital expenditure initiatives.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Reporting on and preparing documentation for property & Asset implementation programs and initiatives.
- Negotiate, manage and review contracts where required.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities and Assets to proactively identify maintenance needs and address potential issues.
- Developing Property/ Asset strategies that include project feasibilities, business cases, financial forecasts and budgets.
- Develop the life cycle of assets, Integrate long-term strategies with short-term delivery, and ensure the ESG strategies are aligned.
