About the role: *12 Month Maternity Leave Cover*
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Property Development Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Property team to assist in the investigation, planning, development, and management of Property Development projects. Your focus will be on coordinating planning, design, feasibility, and approval activities to ensure the successful execution of projects.
As part of the role, you'll be responsible for comprehensive coordination and assistance throughout the lifecycle of Property Development projects. This includes managing documentation, statutory approvals, and board meetings, as well as ensuring project delivery. In the realm of project planning and design, responsibilities involve conceptualisation, collaborating with stakeholders to refine designs, and participating in budgeting and scheduling. Additionally, coordinating various reviews and assessments to ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards are met is crucial. Liaising with service authorities regarding design impacts on infrastructure is also part of the role.
During project delivery, responsibilities include creating project briefs, securing approvals, and conducting consultations with stakeholders to meet project objectives. Managing budgets, overseeing pre-construction activities, and administering contracts are integral parts of ensuring project success. Adherence to approval processes, preparation of status reports, and fulfilling any additional duties assigned by management are also expected. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
About You:
Essential:
- Project Management or Property Management Certificate with 2 years or more as a client-side property planning coordination, tenancy coordination or property management, or alternatively equivalent experience as a client-side property or tenancy coordinator (5 years)
- Understanding of project documents, plans, designs, and specifications
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems by applying standards, practices and procedures or operating instructions and involving analysis of information
- Demonstrated ability to work with established procedures and systems as a part of a multiskilled team
- Valid motor vehicle driver’s licence
- Prior experience working on commercial or airport development projects
- Strong relationship building, influencing and organisations skills, with an ability to deliver results in a high pressure environment
Desirable:
- Contract management skills
- Previous work with airports and/or Commonwealth Government
- Previous work with defence industry contractors (Primes, SMEs, industry partners)
- Understanding of NSW and Local Government planning legislation and a track record of securing development consent approvals
- Construction Induction certificate (white card)
