Your opportunity
Join is in a proactive role as the Property Leasing Administration Manager in Sydney.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Property, this role will manage all leasing administrative tasks and projects in relation to Port Authority’s $ 300M property portfolio, including legal compliance and identifying opportunities to improve.
Here’s how your impact will truly count:
- You’ll provide administrative support to the Senior Manager and Property Manager in leasing compliance and property management.
- You’ll administer the Property Management System ensuring compliance and upgrading requirements as needed.
- You’ll support the Property Team in records management, reporting, and procurement of consultants and contractors.
- You’ll assist in Property budget administration, including vendor management, invoice processing, and report preparation.
- You’ll build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure to ensure consistency in administrative tasks within the Property Division.
- You’ll ensure tenant compliance with lease commercial conditions, overseeing rent payments, insurance and guarantees.
- You’ll conduct rent reviews, collaborate with valuers, and manage tenancy variation advice for accurate and timely processing.
- You’ll establish and manage processes for payment of rates, taxes and outgoings including council rates, parking levies and water/sewer.
- You’ll prepare the Annual Land Tax application, managing objections to valuations and submit S600 applications to Councils.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in administration of diverse property portfolios involving various stakeholders.
- Experience in fostering positive and collaborative relationships with customers and clients.
- Experience in administering the compliance commercial leases and licenses, ensuring adherence to legal and contractual obligations.
- Proficient in reviewing draft documents for Executive approval with attention to detail and a thorough understanding of legal and business.
- High level knowledge of legal administration associated with leases and licences.
- Demonstrated competency and experience in using Microsoft Office Suite and invoice management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
