An opening has become available for an experienced Team Leader or Senior Property Manager to transition into a strategic thinking business and lead a successful team. Manage a team of 13 in a modern, freshly renovated office in the heart of Rockhampton.
The Role - Exclusive to Gough Recruitment
This role encompasses both leadership responsibilities as well as residential property portfolio management. Responsibilities include:
- Build and assist in the growth of the Property Management division
- Offer strong leadership and lead by example to the Property Management team
- Organise and prepare 1:1 meetings with staff
- Oversee the roll-out of operational procedures and Software
- Liaise with landlords ensuring all matters involving their investment are running smoothly
- Oversee all tenancy applications ensuring a high standard of quality tenants is met
- Refunds in conjunction with trust accountant
- Representing landlords at the tribunal if required
- Addressing and diffusing conflict between staff, tenants and landlords
- Lead weekly PM meetings and conduct regular training to ensure our team is at the forefront of legislative and best practice requirements
- Assist in providing a nurturing and happy work environment for the team, and continue efforts to cultivate a great team ethos and culture
- Receive and provide ongoing training
- Report to management during weekly meetings
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Property Manager who has managed staff or an experienced Team Leader
- 4+ years of experience in Real Estate
- Current Certificate of Registration (License is preferred)
- Own a vehicle & valid driver’s license.
- Previous Team Leader experience ESSENTIAL
