Lobethal Road Wines is expanding our Cellar Door team.
Located between Lobethal and Mt Torrens in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, we provide a unique setting to experience our award winning wines and to enjoy our seasonal lunch menu. Family owned, we are passionate about providing an authentic, professional and welcoming experience for visitors to our Cellar Door and restaurant.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Cellar Door Manager to join our growing business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the Cellar Door operations including wine tasting, restaurant and functions, ensuring the delivery of a superior visitor experience in all areas
- Management of staff including rosters, training and recruitment
- Meet revenue sales targets and KPI's
- Management of bookings and POS system
- Work with the management team to develop special events and experiences
Skills and experience:
- Experience in leading a team
- Exceptional customer service and understanding of driving sales
- Are positive, enthusiastic, reliable, able to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven experience in a similar Cellar Door or hospitality role
Requirements:
- This is a permanent full time position working Thursday - Monday. No evening work is required
- Excellent wine knowledge
- Excellent cash handling skills
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate and Responsible Person's Badge
