We are seeking professionals with a background in property, contract management, reporting, and procurement at the APS5 and EL1 levels for multiple Commonwealth government clients.

Project Manager (EL1) – Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane
A 6-month labour hire contract is on offer, with possible extension
Duties
- Oversee program management delivery of multiple capital works projects, including forecasting, progress and financial tracking and reporting
- Maintain and ensure ongoing project governance and communication
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and review requirements, and coordinate risk assessments and mitigations
- Provide strategic advice and assistance to the Senior Executives and stakeholders
- Provide leadership to Property and Security Branch staff, including developing team capability
Requisite skills/experience
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to operate under broad direction, exercise a degree of independence, and perform a leadership role
- Ability to work within established legislative and policy frameworks
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Relevant project management and/or construction industry qualifications desirable
Property Officer (APS5) - Canberra
A 3-month labour hire contract is on offer, with possible extension. Temporary section 26 transfers will be considered for ongoing APS staff.
Duties
- Act as the first contact for property & facilities matters, including escorting contractors, assisting with outages, and verifying completion of works
- Manage work order jobs logged with the property management provider
- Draft briefs and reports related to property for senior management and governance committees
- Assist with initiatives that supports the organisation to strengthen its property control capabilities, comply with control obligations, and implement related reforms
Requisite skills/experience
- Facilities management and/or administration experience desirable
- Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills
- Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively to influence outcomes
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to achieve results
