About the RolesAs a Property Services Officer or Groundsperson, you'll play a key role in maintaining our College grounds at a high standard. Responsibilities include:
Property Services Officer
- Contribute to the high standards of the College's property, including grounds, ovals, gardens, facilities, and equipment.
- Ensure a safe and visually appealing school for student activities and community enjoyment.
- Focus on the maintenance of external areas, paths, roadways, verandahs, walls, and structures to complement the College's high standards.
Groundsperson
- Cultivate and maintain green spaces, lawns, and gardens.
- Collaborate with the Head of Grounds to enhance the overall aesthetics of the campus.
- Assess plant health and contribute to landscaping projects.
- Operate gardening equipment safely and effectively.
Full-time roles (38 hours per week). Monday 6:30 am and 3 pm and Tuesday to Friday 6.30am and 2.30pm.

To succeed in these roles, you should have:
- Horticulture Certificate III or vocational or tertiary level qualifications (Groundsperson position only)
- Relevant experience in plant care and landscaping, or a similar role
- Practical knowledge of gardening equipment and tools
- Experience in maintaining grounds in a medium to large organisation
- Positive attitude and effective communication skills
- Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card)
- Manual driver's license and relevant licenses (Chemical and spray, Construction White Card) or willingness to obtain.
