We are seeking professional, highly motivated and qualified Service Manager to join our team.
Established in 1981, J&D Contracting is a quality accredited Brisbane based company providing a complete range of building maintenance and disability services for government and private sector clients throughout Queensland
You will:
- Continual development and integration of a Services (Plumbing and Electrical) capability with J&D
- Foster relationships with clients to maintain and develop new tender opportunities
- Assist the Sales Team in bidding and estimating for new work
- Review tender documentation as it relates to services components of the works to ensure accurate tender pricing and eliminate risks
- Stakeholder Communication and Liaison
- Managing and mentoring teams to perform effectively and efficiently
- Weekly analysis of Key Performance Indicators - Jobs, Labour Invoicing, productivity
- Review monthly and quarterly budget/cost reports for projects and provide direct advice to General Manager on risks and opportunities.
- Monthly performance reporting
- Financial analysis and financial management skills.
- Accurate Documentation and Reporting
- Problem Solving
- WHS Compliance
About you:
- Trade Services qualification in Plumbing or Electrical an advantage
- 5+ Years experience in delivering Maintenance Services within the Commercial Sector (Govt or Private)
- An excellent communicator (oral and written) with strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent Client Management
- Excellent Team Development and Leadership skills
- Previous Sales or Business Development experience welcomed
- Sound Business and Financial reporting awareness
- Experience operating within ERP environments - simPRO, or similar system
- Expert in Microsoft Office Suite, and data management
- Industry White Card.
