Our Journey:
The program has Five PARCS (Preventions and Recovery Care Services) which includes a specialist Women’s only PARCs, an Extended Care PARCs (EPARC) and Youth PARCS. The clinical service is supported by an aligned operational structure to enable the provision of high quality service through the creation of clinical-operational partnerships to support staff, consumers, carers and their families, and a strong professional structure that supports the governance of the health professional workforce.
A Day in the Life:
Clayton PARCS is a 10 bed short term residential facility where consumers can stay (2-4 weeks). The model is focussed on assisting consumers to meet their identified recovery goals, whilst offering the consumer and carer’s respite. Referrals are received from inpatient units, community teams as well as external stakeholders (consumer/family/GP/Private mental health practitioners).
The model for PARCS sees a strong commitment for Monash Health and the NGO staff to work in partnership to provide seamless clinical, recovery- oriented and evidence based care to consumers during their stay, which is inclusive of their family/carers. Staff also work with consumer to provide psychosocial support and linkages to external providers post their stay.

What you need:
Mental health experience
An ambitious and driven leadership mentality
An understanding of recovery orientated principles
Qualifications and relevant registrations in Nursing
Capacity to work independently and within a team
A friendly and professional attitude.
Excellent engagement, relationship and therapeutic skills
Resilience and strong work ethics
Australian working rights
Current AHPRA registration
You must have relevant professional registration
A valid Working with Children Check
A valid Victorian Drivers Licence is essential
Post Graduate Qualification in Mental Health is preferred
This is a Mental Health Clinician position as follows:
RPN - Grade 3 Year 1-4
