Psychologist / Principle Psychologist In Private Practice - Full Onsite Admin Support

We Provide:

·       Sub-contract position with transition to permanent employment

·       Exceptional full on-site reception support: All booking, wait lists, payments, GP reports etc. done for you, allowing you a hassle-free, purely therapeutic client time - it's what we love to do

·       Plenty of clients and a sensitive client-therapist matching process, close realtionships with locals doctors

·       Face to face or hybrid (not solely Telehealth)

·       Access to an EMDR kit, bio-feedback software, NOVOPsych recourses, and we will work with you for additional resources

·       Professional and supportive colleagues, quarterly bonding outings, regular peer supervision and PD opportunities

·       Board approved clinical supervisor on-site

·       An attractive, relaxed workplace in a beautiful two storey building, family frendly, pet friendly, ND and queer affirming, plenty of parking, minutes walk from a park, a gym, and an outdoor swimming pool (we even have a shower)

We expect you to:

·       Have a Doctoral or Masters level qualification in Psychology, Registrars welcome now, 5+1 can apply from 2025 

·       Be eligible for the Medicare rebate, have your own ABN and indemnity insurance

·       Have a clear focus on your needs, aspirations, goals, passions, strengths and barriers

·       Be committed to ongoing Professional Development and introspection

·       Preferably 2+ years experience in Private Practice

·       Preferably trained in ACT and Schema Therapy  

·       Be warm, passionate, quick to build rapport with clients and colleagues, and have a chronic history of being [tactfully] transparent

·       Bonus – if you’re a little quirky and you own it, and if you appreciate a healthy dose of sense of humour 

You will have close to nothing admin chores, so you can fully focus on your clients and switch off when you go home.

This role is not for you if you wish to only hire a room, or if you're seeking one extra day to fill up your books,  or if you wish to see 7-8 clients 5 days a week.
