P/T Medical Receptionist/Secretary - Specialist Vascular Surgeon
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Medical receptionist/secretary for 3 days per week, starting immediately.
Working days – Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with flexibility to cover other staff.
Location: SJOG Subiaco
Essential criteria
- Prior Medical Secretary experience with a Medical Specialist essential
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Medical Administration/Reception
- Great attention to detail with data entry Genie experience essential
- Great time management & organisational skills
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- High level of integrity and empathy towards patients needs
- Ability to work independently with initiative and as a team member
- Excellent verbal communication skills, enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Strong computer skills and typing ability
Principal Duties
- Admin support during Clinics, including greeting patients, processing payments and generating invoices
- General administrative duties: answering phone calls, emails and other enquiries
- Organising patient referrals and co-ordinating bookings in a timely manner
- Appointment book management - consultations/procedures/theatre
- Maintaining electronic patient records
- Liasing and corresponding with patients, GP's and other Specialists
- Any additional tasks as required by the practice and flexibility to cover leave
