As a key member of our diverse and inclusive Australia & New Zealand Finance team, you'll drive the Public Sector business in Australia and New Zealand, partnering with stakeholders to drive strategic resource allocation and investments. With a blend of rhythm-of-the-business activities and analytics, you'll drive business decision-making, revenue growth, and manage risks and opportunities.

Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
- OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience AND Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
This position requires effective communication of ideas and analysis, with executive and senior management to influence business decisions. Your strengths will therefore include executive presence, business acumen, and strong presentation and communication skills.
Prioritization
- You will collaborate with business leaders to maximize Return on Investment through headcount, operational efficiencies, and resource allocation.
- You will translate top-down targets into accountable budgets for each group.
- You will deliver results by tracking performance, forecast accuracy, and partnering with business leaders.
Partnership
- You will develop trusted partnerships to drive business goals, cost optimization, and maximize Return on Investment.
- You will provide credible insights into P&L optimization and identify market opportunities.
- You will conceptualize and design new approaches to financial data collection and evaluation.
- You will drive improvements in data management through automation.
Protect
- You will monitor a comprehensive system of accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
- You will create alignment between business stakeholders and the internal audit team.
- You will ensure compliance with all accounting, tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
