Our client's premier government practice has a wealth of experience in the Public Sector. The team assists both Federal and State government in a generalist capacity on a range of matters and projects.
The Role
This role will see you supporting a range of government activities and providing advice on government decision making and management of legal risk. In particular, you will be responsible for:

- Litigation and tort claims;
- Aspects of Administrative law;
- Working on Royal Commission inquiries and inquests;
- Representing government departments and agencies;
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
Requirements
Our client is looking for an experienced lawyer, with between 3 and 5 years' PAE. In addition, the ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated litigation and administrative law experience;
- Interest in working in the government/political sector;
- A team oriented approach to work;
- A strong work ethic.
