The Role
At YHI POWER, we aim to provide growth and opportunities for our employees. We are looking for a motivated person with a positive can-do attitude to join our procurement team located at Braeside Head Office on a full-time basis ( Monday to Friday).
Core Responsibilities
The main purpose of this role is to provide support for all purchasing related activities throughout the business.
The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated and hands-on person who excels under pressure, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be a true team player.
Main responsibilities:
Reporting to Procurement Manager, your duties include but not limited to:
- Assist the Purchasing Manager through the coordination of national purchasing, product and inventory management activities
- Work closely with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure best practice and timeliness of delivery of products
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
- Document sorting and filing
About you
Ideally this role will suit the candidate who has following skills:
- Sound experience of the purchasing/procurement function
- Strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, energetic & a quick thinker
- Medium to advance excel skills
- Fluent mandarin speaking
- SAP MM module end user experience will be preferred but not essential.
