RMAA been contracted by Ford Motor Company of Australia Ltd to convert the Ford F150 pick-up truck from left hand drive to right hand drive at its brand-new vehicle assembly and warehouse facility in Mickleham. With over 30 years of experience, we have delivered over 100,000 vehicles to customers globally.
Description
- Purchasing both production and non-production related materials and services according to required technical specifications and operational requirements.
- Negotiating supplier price, terms, quality, availability, and delivery requirements.
- Implementing P2P (purchase to pay process) and developing best practice procurement strategy and processes.
- Managing, preparing and releasing of purchase orders according to requirements generated by the requestor(s).
Profile
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, high pressured organisaton that does operate in the grey quite a bit.
- A background in manufacturing or assembly line style organisations
- You have experience managing and holding to account local and international suppliers.
- You have five years plus experience in inventory and procurement management in a complex and fast paced automotive or other manufacturing environment.
- ▪ You can build strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers and stakeholders.
- ▪ Ideally, you have a thorough understanding of, and experience in, automotive part procurement.
