InnoTherm is an engineered solutions specialist, committed to the design, development, manufacture and delivery of industrial Heat Transfer solutions for the domestic and export markets.

They are a customer focused business with well-established relationships with global entities, working on a diverse range of projects from large mining trucks, power stations & rail locomotives for sectors such as large Transport, Rail, and the Oil / Gas industries.
ROLE
The Purchasing & Logistics Officer is a newly created role responsible for the overall purchasing of goods and services according to the specified/planned quantities, quality and timelines.
This will be hands-on role that will be largely autonomous on a day-to-day basis. Working in a well organised and structured environment with established supply chains and ERP system, this role is a lynchpin in the effective running of the factory.
Specifically, you will focus on:
- Negotiating pricing and terms with domestic and international suppliers
- Identification of potential new suppliers - collaborating with Engineering in the development of suppliers
- Resolving quality and pricing issues
- Cost Management
- Supporting the Production Team – Planning and scheduling of orders and deliveries to ensure that parts are available when required – placing orders (domestic and international) and expediting deliveries - meeting DIFOT targets
- Managing all in-bound logistics including all overseas shipments. Managing export logistics
- ERP System – responsible for inventory data accuracy
We are searching for an individual who has experience working in a multi faceted role which cover several core aspects for this business across purchasing, logistics and planning. You will be a resilient individual who is not afraid to be hands on and get stuck into challenges. We are looking for a person who has a positive attitude with a solutions focussed mindset, you will be given opportunities to grow with this business and become a leader in your area.
Specifically, you will have:
- Previous experience in purchasing, vendor scheduling and shipping, preferably in the Manufacturing industry
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers
- Strong understanding of dealing with domestic & international logistics
- High attention to detail
- A positive can-do attitude
- Highly organised
- Proficient in MS office and MS excel
- ERP experience
