Purchasing Officer

Graham Lusty Trailers have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic person with strong attention to detail to join our team as a Purchasing Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing a high level of administrative support to the Finance Team with purchasing activities
• Assist production and purchasing with demand planning
• Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, including planning, tendering, negotiation, contract management, purchasing and spend management
• Build relationships with key business partners to support the planning, delivery and management of procurement services
• Ensure the stock control department is well organised to sufficiently support production and the goals of the business
• Comply with Work Health and Safety regulations and promote a positive safety culture

About You

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
• High attention to detail 
• Excellent time management and self-organisation skills
• Respect and understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
• Works well in a team and individually
• Punctual with a positive work ethic
• Effective communication skills 
• Have your own transport – we are located in Crestmead, South Brisbane.
