Here’s where you come in

If you have had exposure to purchasing, supply chain and customer service (internal stakeholders) and want to progress your career in Purchasing, this the role for you!

You’ll join a fast-paced environment that pushes you to achieve your best as you partner the business to deliver its products and improve its processes. 

But you won’t do it alone. You’ll be supported every step of the way as part of a high achieving Procurement Team. 

Your responsibilities, at a glance: 

• Day-to-day procurement of consumables; ensuring all orders are placed on time meeting internal customer demands
• Quote consumables and supply relevant data to departments, lead consumable items meetings with Vendors
• Source alternative options when required (e.g. supplier discontinued or out of stock)
• Investigate and resolve pricing/quantity discrepancies with supplier invoices
• Ensure goods are received with Certificate of Conformance and appropriate documentation 
• Achieve and maintain target supplier delivery and quality performance 
• Assist with cost reduction projects
• Expedite / de-expedite purchase orders 
• Follow up back order deliveries and communicate to internal customers
• Establish and ensure safety stock levels for goods are maintained
• Maintain accurate supplier price lists
• Assist with management of sitewide system; assist departments with supply related inquiries
• Assist with Contract Administration
• Maintain a high level of communication with all suppliers

You need to tick these boxes 

We select applicants based on capability and aptitude. But we also emphasise cultural fit. Therefore, you’ll need to have a positive mindset, be flexible and adaptable in your approach, and be prepared to take ownership of your performance. 

You’ll also need to possess the following:

• Experience in administration, customer service and supply chain
• Demonstrated experience working with various CRM and database systems, as well as the Microsoft Office suite 
• Experience with and working knowledge of MRP2 systems, MFG/PRO or similar
• An understanding of the link between the Customer, Product Development, Production, QA/QC, Distribution, and the roles they play within the Supply Chain
• Additional desirable qualifications: Experience in purchasing consumable items across various categories, demonstrating knowledge of supplier management, cost analysis, and industry standards.
