About the Opportunity
This role is a 12 month contract based opportunity with a high chance of renewal. A flexible, hybrid work environment ensures a great work-life balance - this is a Geelong based position and requires some time spent in office. This is a full time position open to Australian Citizens only.
Responsibilities
- Developing and managing project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency's project management framework.
- Performing independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant project activities.
- Coordinating regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
- Preparing draft written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation.
- Monitoring project budgets, review and report on expenditure and assist with procurement and contract management.
- Identifying and assisting with the management of project risks, issues and benefits.
Requirements
- Australian Citizenship (required)
- Experience in project management tools, such MS Project
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Analytical skills - able to analyse large amounts of information from a range of sources and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong communication - able to effectively communicate written and verbally to stakeholders across the organisation, from frontline staff to executives.
- Experience in JIRA
