Hardwick's Meatworks, part of Kilcoy Global Foods, is a red meat processing facility located in Kyneton, Victoria. Kyneton is a thriving country township situated in the beautiful Macedon Ranges Shire. We have been operating for 50 years and are committed to serving our customers with the highest quality products across domestic & export markets. 

We currently have a vacancy within our Quality Assurance Department for a Quality Assurance (QA) Officer. The successful candidate will support the operational teams by assisting the business to achieve its operational and strategic goals.

The role's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure operations conform to food safety regulations and Quality Systems requirements though partnering with the Production team
• Document, control and report on the non-conformance and Corrective Action Requirements within the parameters of the Quality Management System
• Support and implement key food safety requirements 
• Undertake quality internal audits, HACCP enquiries, and respond to any customer complaints
• Ensure all staff are aware and comply with the necessary requirements of our Quality Management Systems

ABOUT YOU

• Qualifications in HACCP, and AusMeat Specification Qualifications, or
• Quality assurance background in a food manufacturing environment, or
• Operational experience in a meat processing facility
• A strong sense of accountability and responsibility
• Commitment to company values and food safety culture
• Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Attention to detail, initiative and time management skills
• Vaccinated (or willing to be) against Q Fever
