Qualified Automotive Mechanic - Toyota - Fixed Term Contract

Toll People are very proud to partner with Toyota Australia in their Centralised Services Operations in Altona North.

Due to their incredibly fast growth, they now have a unique opportunity for Trade Qualified Mechanics to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on all mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience and competent using Toyota / Lexus diagnostic software.
• Thorough understanding of repair manuals and perform complex repairs on Toyota / Lexus vehicles.
• Vehicle inspection, testing and repair.
• Sound parts interpretation ability to look up correct replacement parts first time.
• Ability to clearly record issues and document repair details.
• Provide accurate repair times.
• Attention to detail and high level of workmanship.
• Interacting professionally with shopfloor teams.
• Guiding, mentoring, and assisting staff.
• Experience and knowledge fitting accessories to vehicles.
• Tyre & wheel alignment experience (an advantage)

Qualifications / Experience

• Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate (minimum Cert. III)
• 3+ years accumulative experience
• Efficient, reliable, honest with a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude Quality and continuous improvement focus
• Able to work unsupervised.
• Current Australian manual drivers' licence
