Bush’s Meats is rich in history and we'd love to have you join our team.
We are offering an immediate start for a casual butcher with potential to become permanent following a 3-month trial. Location may vary per week between our South Coast stores, you will be rostered on for 44 hours minimum weekly.
Qualifications & experience
- Qualified Butcher in Meat Processing
- Retail experience
- Excellent customer service & counter experience essential
- Driver's licence preferred
Tasks & responsibilities
- Experience in the meat industry; general butchering- including cutting, boning, slicing, trimming, and portioning skills
- Value adding and presentation of meat counters
- Customer service skills and professional attitude to work
- Ability to conduct stock take and cash up
- Willingness to learn the management of the business & manage when necessary
- Basic computer skills an advantage
- Ability to adhere to workplace health, safety, and quality assurance procedures
- Self-driven and motivated
