Qualifications & experience
- Carpentry qualification
- 4+ years' experience in residential construction.
- White card
Tasks & responsibilities
- Read plans, drawings, and specifications to fully grasp requirements.
- Site measures / take offs.
- Ability to safely use all forms of carpentry tools.
- Ability to perform all forms of carpentry from framing through to final fix, sometimes at heights.
- A strong understanding of the OH&S requirements and willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work and contribute as part of the team and without supervision.
- Able to take instruction.
- Ability to help shape and teach apprentices trade skills unsupervised.
