About our Centre: 

Our newly purpose built, family orientated Service provides a home away from home for the little ones in our community. Nestled in Quenda Estate, we have onsite parking with public transport only a short walk away. The service is located next to the future Wattleup East Primary School which is estimated to completed in 2024.

We have a diverse team of passionate and collaborative educators who believe the education and care of our children is paramount. We strongly believe in empowering our educator’s professional growth and provide opportunities for career progression through the company. 

The Buttercups way focuses on developing and embedding meaningful relationships with the children, families, and educators within our service. Through building our foundational relationships it allows us to scaffold the children’s learning focusing on their development and individual interests.. 

The Opportunity: 

Buttercups has opened a new Centre and we are looking for passionate part-time or full-time Diploma Qualified or Cert III Educators (including Room Leaders) to join our wonderful team. 

You will be working closely with other Educators to provide a safe, fun and educational environment for our children. You will provide care, supervision and education on a day-to-day basis, providing input into the daily schedule. You will have the opportunity to develop positive relationships with both the children and parents, providing a supportive care environment. Room Leaders may have the opportunity to act as a Responsible Person at times when the Centre Manager is absent from the Centre, assuming responsibility for the day-to-day operation and administration ensuring the provision of high quality early childhood education and care to children and their families.

What you’ll bring:

  • Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care, or ACECQA approved Equivalent. 
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). 
  • A warm and caring personality. 
  • You must hold a current First Aid certificate, Working with Children Check, and up to date immunisation and Police Clearance. 
  • Excellent communication skills.
