Rae Barry Plumbing & Excavations is an established, local company based in Geelong. We provide commercial & residential plumbing services, with a civil focus, including sewer, water, drainage, CCTV, drain cleaning & relining technologies.
Opportunities exist for experienced, Qualified Plumbers, Operators & Apprentices to join our highly motivated, hard working team, servicing ongoing contracts in Geelong and surrounding areas.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Your works will include, but not be limited to all areas of;
- Sewer mains
- Water mains
- Drainage
- Machine/Excavator operation
- Pipe Laying
- Gas Fitting
- CCTV inspection
- Drain Clearing
- Drain Relining
- Domestic Plumbing
Skills and experience
The successful Plumber & Operator applicants will be/have;
Essential
- Current Plumbing License/Registration
- Proven experience in all aspects of above & below ground plumbing
- Current, valid references
- Construction Industry Card
- Excellent quality of workmanship
- Committed to safe work practices
- Current, manual, Vic Drivers Lic
- Ability to read & interpret plans & specifications
- Ability to work independently & within a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to co-ordinate with other trades and suppliers
- Highly motivated, physically fit
- Reliable & Responsible
- Own hand/basic power tools
- Must agree to a Police and Working With Children Check
Advantage, but not essential
- MR, HR, HC licence
- Confined Space Entry qualification
- First Aid qualification
- Civil experience; Trench shoring & Excavator Operator Cert.
