About the Role
The Quality and Risk Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of care and ensuring positive business outcomes while minimising potential risks within our hospital.
Working closely with clinical and non-clinical departments, the Quality and Risk Manager will:
- Establish and uphold effective quality assurance protocols
- Conduct thorough analyses of processes and outcomes
- Implements strategies to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Oversee compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate staff education on risk management practices, serving as a resource for resolving quality-related issues
This position can be full-time or part-time hours – 4-5 days a week.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a confident, self-directed individual with a high level of skill and knowledge in all aspect of hospital governance.
- Relevant clinical qualifications in Nursing or Allied Health
- Minimum of 5 years in an acute hospital setting
- Experience and competence in undertaking root cause analysis investigations
- Demonstrated effectiveness in both operational and strategic leadership in a hospital setting
- Experience and expertise in Quality and patient safety role/s
- Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement framework/s
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft office suite and knowledge of databases such as RiskMan
